Return Material Authorization Form
- All RMA’s expire thirty (30) days after issuance and shall not be renewed.
- Customer pays all return freight unless the return is caused by a Valin error or confirmed manufacturing defect. A fee for freight will be charged if the fault for the issue is determined to be caused by Customer.
- All returns of non-defective material for credit or exchange, not due to a Valin error must be authorized in advance and in writing by Valin. Any item to be returned must be current revision, in original unopened packaging, must be unused and in re-sellable condition. If, upon inspection, the items appear to have been opened, installed, or missing pieces, we have the right to reject the return. Return of any item is subject to a return processing fee equal to 20% of the extended sales price of the item(s) being returned (minimum of $75.00), however, fees may vary depending on manufacturer policy.
- Defective material is limited to failure due to manufacturing defect under normal and intended use. Material found to be No Fault Found (NFF), damaged by misuse, installation error, contamination, or application error will be treated as non-defective and subject to restocking fees and freight charges.
- Requests for return of non-defective material for credit or exchange resulting from a Seller error (i.e., mis-shipment of material or quantity) shall be handled at no charge to customer.
- Special order, made to order parts, and assembly items are non-returnable.
- All returns must be requested within 90 days of invoice. This return policy supersedes any conflicting customer purchase order terms unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Valin.
- If parts are deemed non-functional, they may be subject to scrap by the manufacturer and unable to ship back to the customer.
